Care  · Honesty  · Exploration

Life can be difficult and confusing and our experiences and circumstances can significantly impact our lives. We can become stuck in ways of thinking, feeling and behaving, so having a professional to help us recognise and understand these patterns can be hugely beneficial for change and growth.

In today’s busy world we don’t often get fully seen or heard, or have the time to explore and reflect on how we are feeling. We look after our physical health, but can often neglect our emotional and mental health. I believe there is huge benefit in making time and space for our mental well-being, which ultimately impacts our physical health also.

I am a person-centred counsellor, couple’s therapist trained in the Bader-Pearson Developmental Model of couples therapy and a clinical supervisor. I will provide you with a professional, safe and therapeutic space to explore what is happening in your life. I work empathetically and non judgementally, with honesty and integrity.

As a couple’s therapist and partner myself, I understand that relationships are particularly challenging in our times. Concepts around sexuality, gender and partner roles have changed and what being in relationship means is subject to broader interpretation. My aim is to help you recognise how conflict in relationship can indicate the opportunity for personal growth and to help you explore and progress your relationship regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, gender identity or religious beliefs.

Finding the right therapist for you is an important part of your journey. It is not easy to open up and put your trust in a stranger, but it is my belief that with the right therapist you can begin to experience the benefits that a therapeutic relationship can have on your life.
